Essential tips for the Music Festival Camping

When you have a music festival goes, there are a few essential tips that you need to know to ensure that you have a great time.

First things first. There is always the chance that some unpredictable weather, so it's best to have enough supplies that can deal with boiling heat or torrential rain.

1. Drink

You can never have enough water, the last thing that you want to go missing from the festival, because you don't have enough of the right stuff have drunk and have eventually pass and in the tent of first aid. Water is what you want, not fizz, no alcohol. What you intend to drink, make sure that the container that it in plastic or some substances than glass. The organizers will under no circumstances allow you to get into anything with glass for obvious reasons.

2. The Munchies

Not going to bring things that threatens to go fast or you'll end up-yup, you guessed it-in the first aid tent again!

Something that should be kept cool you should have by the end of the first day cooked and eaten by the end of the 2nd or 3rd day at the latest,.

Keep all perishable in the cooler. You can buy of ice on the site but are willing to lugging it a fair way back to your tent. Make sure you have plenty of individually packaged snacks to you on the go, fruits such as apples and bananas are good, salted nuts, pretzels, not so good thanks to the high salinity, which if you don't drink enough will have you up-yup end, again, right in that first aid tent!

You may order unopened eating and drinking in the room. Bring as much water as you can or will you end up-do I need to tell you again?

3. Sleeping arrangements

Bring a good tent if you can, an open-sided hood thing is not what you want coz if it down tips with rain and there is a sort of wind you get soaked together with all your stuff.

Of course you need something to sleep on and in conjunction with the right tools to give you your tent.

Remember a torch, there is nothing worse than rummaging around in the pitch black trying to set up a tent on feeling alone. A table and a couple of chairs is also a good idea, there is nothing worse than sitting in the mud, it stinks and gets everywhere (believe me, I know!)

Bring a portable barbecue or BBQ and something to register the event such as a camcorder or camera. Remember to wear sunscreen and a waterproof as a poncho, together with footwear such as crocs for rain or Sun (you definitely don't want burned feed) or wellies in case of rain, and make sure that what you bring is super comfortable.

4. Safety

A belt money is a good idea, you can take your valuables with you at all times. But only bring the essentials. You can now well equipped to enjoy yourself on the following Music Festival.

Awesome portable BBQ Grill

Weber Q 100 BBQ grill is fantastic! We are looking for a small portable gas grill to take camping and this exceeded our expectations.

Firstly, this gas barbecue is very well made and sturdy. Weber produced from the grill lid and body in tough cast aluminium with a sturdy nylon with glass fibre reinforced frame. This portable grill is very light, so it's easy to stash in the trunk for picnics and camping.

The portable grill is an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a regulator of high quality makes it easy to heat.

The heavy roster is fantastic! All had the other BBQ grills thin, fragile timesheets. It has 189 sq. in. cooking surface. Spacious surface can serve steaks or burgers, half a dozen or a dozen hot dogs. I love of grilling with the Weber Q, I can cook dinner in 15-20 minutes.

Cleanup is a problem with a brush. My friends with the cheap timesheets never want to grill, their BBQ grills are dirty and a pain to clean. My grill is always ready to go.

The best thing about the small burner fuel consumption; 5 lbs. propane lasts all season (in California) at 1-2 per week.

Weber finally place a Weber Q Cookbook of recipes and inspiration. The portable grill comes with a five-year limited warranty.

Anyway, I love my big small BBQ grill. It is perfect for a smaller family of 2 or 3 persons. I doubt that anyone will be disappointed with this purchase.

BBQ grilling and smoking secrets revealed

The art of barbecuing has as one of the oldest art in the world. The first grilled items would have been that cooked over an open fire by the cavemen. Can't you just the first time that they the charred remains of a saber tooth tiger in the Woods found visualize? They were probably getting burning sticks for the cave fire and were lured to the carcase by the inviting scent of the cooked meat. In the time they would have realized things like: animals were best cooked without the coat, and that meat cooked with some woods tasted better than spruce. This would of course have led to experiment with different combinations.

Then, one night as Mama Ugh some wild boar to the spit on the fire was preparing, Papa Bah home arrived with a honeycomb that he had discovered. While he tried to melt the honey from the honeycomb number of dripped on the pork and,---ZOWIE--- BBQ sauces is born.

This experiment still goes on today, almost every time someone cooks above the fireplace or in a state-of-the-art barbecue grill. Barbecuing fascinates us, such as campfires and fast flowing rivers. We desire to reach back to ancestral times and culinary possibilities, since they must have been. Today, however, we don't normally Cook on open fires. Our company in the past is usually on a ultra modern Weber applied to a type of flammable gas and using a variety of choice cut meats and herbs.

Never mind, the idea is still there, and the competition so intense, Grill the absolutely best BBQ dinner on the cave colony or in the modern day county.

We spend about $ 250 on a grill and up to $ 100 in Accessories, and then experiment for the most part with steaks, ribs, chicken, Burger, or pork, to try not to make it look like we "throwed it in the fire for fifteen o twenty minutes and then drugs it out". Then we add to the cost of our learning experience every time we fork out another 20 bucks for that choice cuts, so we eat can "primitive".

Take a look at what we have to consider before you in barbecuing.

1.) before doing anything else think carefully about what you want to grill or smoke and whether there is a piece of equipment available that is flexible enough to do everything you want to do your barbecue.

2.) If the grill is mainly for barbecuing, the following are the equipment needed or wanted. I say desired because your individual taste are the most important when decisions about food. Do you prefer

wood,
coal,
or gas barbecues?

You should also ask if the grill is to be used for grilling only, or also for smoking meat? Many Bbqs today function side burners and warmers, and you can even built-in detonators if you choose a gas barbecue. There are even timesheets that are designed with special non-smoking features.

3.) you need accessories for your grill/smoker?

Rotisserie,
Shish kabob tools,
corn cribs,
potato molds,
fish and/or meat holders,
shrimp baskets,
Marshmallow and wiener roast "sticks",
Tang, forks, knives, basting brushes and/or burger flippers,
cleaning brushes, scrapers and cleaning products,
thermometers,
barbecue gloves, hats and aprons
Non-smoking rack

There is a wide range of products available and it's probably best to do a little research in these areas before you layout your hard earned money. I speak from experience when I say that you easily a hundred dollars to spend to Accessories.

4.) as soon as the desired equipment you will need to choose the right type of meat or food based entirely on your personal preferences. A few choices include:

steak,
chest,
RIBS,
fish,
chicken, Turkey, duck, or
Pork chops,
Sirloin strip,
hamburgers,
-on-the-cob,
potatoes,
onions,
sausage, wieners, or
Shish kabob products (meat, onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc.),

This list can go on and on if you are a food you like cooking you will find probably a way to the barbecue.

5.) along with that you can order a little study in the types of

sauces,
marinades,
or wet or dry rubs

that you and those close to you prefer. This is usually a matter of personal taste, but can also be determined by the type and condition of the flesh. Especially if you are considering a lot of meat of wild game grilling can you want to use special marinades that will even tender the steaks of your trophy animal or the meat more humid. You can to cook your fried potatoes with onions, garlic and herbs, or your corn in a butter bath grill.

6.) then you have to pay attention as to where you want to use and store your barbecue. By where you want to use that I mean would, with attention to anything flammable perhaps too close and the availability of water in the case of an emergency. For saving you must decide whether you're going to under cover as a tool shed or or to buy a BBQ cover as the outside.

7.) Only if we in our kitchens to find the best recipes and procedures to provide the best possible grilled to produce food. The only thing left for you to do is to search for and practice with different procedures and recipes, and then decide which friends you want to invite down and dazzle with your Barbecuing prowess.

Perfect BBQ Grill for Camping

Last year, when I bought this grill him, more than 100 people had written 4 plus star ratings. So I took their advice and bought this grill, you can see that if you look for Baby Q Reviews.

It's compact size makes it ideal for camping in our RV. Travel In combination with the car, it can go anywhere you go. I have traveled with mine, and nothing is more reassuring than cooking on my own grill, wherever and whenever I want.

Weber produced from the grill lid and body in tough cast aluminium with a sturdy nylon with glass fibre reinforced frame. It has a beautiful gas regulator and button/inflammation. So you don't have to wait too long until it to light up.

Weber q uses a 8500 BTU stainless steel burner to heat the 189-square-inch cooking area. The size of the grid is great and easy to cook for 4 persons. I can 6 hamburgers fit on the timesheet, 8 if I squeeze them and they are all done at the same time. Since there are virtually no flare-ups, the finished products have an excellent taste (not all the way to charcoal), but close enough.

We now use a standard 20 gallon propane tank attached to a hose adapter that we bought at one of the major home improvement stores.

This BBQ grill is very easy to assemble. I also like that I equipment at a later time as a standard grill as the rolling cart can buy.

Overall, this BBQ grill itself is heavy, easy to clean, and there is nothing to peel off. Couldn't more highly recommend.

How you will enjoy a weekend Seadoo Camping

I have the best summer weekend schedule of everyone I know. Well, with the exception of my friends who have pretty much the same weekend schedule that I do. I spend the whole week preparing for Friday evening, where I will deal with the truck, tighten down my Seadoo cover, hitch trailer Seadoo and head out on my 2 hour drive to the summer camping destination. I have a small set of friends who share your passion for Seadoo horseback riding and camping parts that I do, so each year I look forward to a summer of good times relaxation at the Lake.

On the lakes here in Ontario is the summer quite a long season relative to other places in Canada. I can the camping season sometimes so start early in may, although the Seadoo season usually a bit more bearable in June, all the way through to September. I seem to have the talent for at least one more friend each year to convince that this life is, and they go and find some camping gear and set itself with a Seadoo, trailer, life jacket and often some pwc gear.

The weekend starts immediately after work on Friday night. The more that we have chosen for this year is less than a two hour drive from the Hotel, which is a perfect time to unwind from work is, listen to a few pod casts and some new music on my ipod, and simply enjoy the drive. Generally, I have the time when I arrive to unpack, install, get the Seadoo out on the Lake and enjoy a quick trip to say hi to some other campers that I know that only come for the weekend too. Getting back before dark means that we can end our supper began and people eating by the light of the campfire.

Bright and early Saturday morning is my favorite part of the whole weekend. I make a quick pot of coffee, have a small snack, and grab my travel mug and fire up the Seadoo. My favorite change my Seadoo has as the bolt on coffee holder that I use for my super slow, check out the more on Saturday morning rides. I get to see what is going on during the week days I'm not here, and sometimes when I'm out early enough I turn off the engine and just float for a while enjoying the morning calm in the middle of the Lake. After an hour or so I head back, and help in making a huge camping breakfast, and really start the whole camping weekend.

My Seadoo ride on Saturday afternoon is definitely a different pace than my early morning nets. I already have my Seadoo friends meet and we head out for a combination of touring, a visit to other camping-sites, and we inevitably take part in some watercraft games and competitions. Wave jumping from another Seadoo wake as my personal favorite. Although Seadooing in a group tons of fun, I would not fail to mention how important it is to keep your eyes open and follow some common sense and safety rules so that your weekend is not with an unnecessary accident ruined.

Sunday morning is a rest day, but I always manage to get out on the Lake for a ride before we fire up the BBQ for a late lunch. As long as I the Seadoo to get out of the water before we grilled cheese sandwiches on the BBQ (yep, on the BBQ my own invention!), it's time to dry out before I have to convert the Seadoo covers on ready for trailer home. My Seadoo protected and covered is one of the biggest priorities for me, since these hold my watercraft in tip top shape for years of lake camping and riding my Seadoo. So sad as it is to go home on Sunday evening, I am glad to think that I will be out again this coming Friday, ready to do it all over again!

Beginner Camp cooking Made Easy

Cooking of meals when camping is not as difficult as it sounds. Keep in mind you don't need to make working meals, you can keep it simple. You don't have to cook over a campfire, instead you can choose to cook with a Coleman grill that runs on propane gas. It's really all up to you. If you're new to camping and outdoor cooking than go with a Coleman, make the cooling easier, because you will be able to control the heat of the flame. Some people prefer a portable barbecue with them and just BBQ all their meals. If you are a wiz with the BBQ are is possible this is the simplest method of camp cooking for you.

Some people may think that whatever you eat while sandwiches camping is but this couldn't be further from the truth. Can you just about anything you would make a home, just hold the short list of ingredients and you will do fine.

Must have basic Camping cooking amenities:

Pot and or skillet
Pot holders or kitchen towels
Kitchen utensils-spatula, tongs, stirring spoon cooking
Cutting board
Cutting knife
Mixing Bowl
Aluminium Foil
Can Opener
Paper plates and utensils
Vegetable oil
Seasoning: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and other favorites

When planning your camping trip you must create the menu. Have a menu at the bottom of paper helps with shopping!

I like to include different salads, which before going on the camping trip. Pasta Salad, Cabbage, green salads, all store well in an ice chest.

You've got clutter? With a Rubbermaid storage shed you'll finally a place to store all your stuff. A Rubbermaid storage barn is an inexpensive storage solution.

4. tie back long hair and long sleeves when a grill, and never forget to the use of heat-resistant gloves or mitts when handling hot tools, food, or coal. This may seem obvious safety regulations, but are easily forgotten after a few laughs and beers with friends.

5. set your grill away from anything flammable, including the side of the House. This is what patios are for.

6. discard as well. Axis that look and feel stone cold on the surface can still be smouldering deep down inside, even a day later. Therefore, even death as on your brush pile of tree trimmings and grass clippings dumping is not a good idea. Nor should you throw them away in the House not only they your Recycle Bin on fire light can, but if the coal still burns, they are still free from carbon monoxide. The safest way to dispose of dead as is in an aluminum trash, preferably a specially.

GAS GRILL SAFETY RULES

1. before the lighting of your grill, check your gas tank for bulges, dents, gouges, or extreme rust, corrosion and inspect the hoses for fragility, leaks, holes, cracks or sharp bends. If you damage if this find, no risk lighting it replaced the share instead.

2. keep propane tanks upright while the grill is in use and keep gas hoses away from hot surfaces or dripping fat.

3. never use matches, lighters, or smoke cigarettes near your gas grill, even when this is switched off. Even the smallest gas leak somewhere may cause an explosion.

4. If you move your propane tank (as for a tailgate or camping), leave it in a hot car or truck. The oven heat of a car interior in the summer can create to extend the gas in the tank until it explodes.

5. never bring or store your propane tank indoors, even the garage. If the tank gas springs a leak, you probably don't want to build the flammable gas in a closed or poorly ventilated space. Never store gas tanks in the vicinity of other flammable items like gasoline or oil.

6. Always make sure to turn the valve on your propane tank if you finish grilling. Again, this seems an obvious safety rule, but it's one that is often forgotten.

Cooking fish on a Camping outing

Here in the great Northwest, fish is abundant and can be cooked in various ways from home while you enjoy the outdoors.

Whether it's salmon, halibut, crab, oysters, calms-you name it, there are several ways to prepare a large dish. We share our favorite recipes in this article in the hope that you'll try them and some of your Favorites, too.

SALMON: Our two favourite ways of preparing salmon fillet both relate to the BBQ grill. The first is a small cedar board in water weeks for several hours. Place the salmon on cedar and top the salmon with fresh lemon slices, fresh dill, capers and pats of butter or margarine. Place the fish, directors and all on the BARBECUE and cook until done-usually 20-40 minutes depending on the heat of the BBQ. This ends imparting a somewhat smoky flavor of the edges of the Board of Directors burning and the fresh vegetables and herbs are administered in the fish. A done, cut the salmon in the sections your family loves and serve.

If your taste imply a somewhat smoky flavor, the fish are set to foil instead of cedar wood and done the same way.

Good side dishes include vegetables of your liking. Our family has scalloped potatoes with their salmon.

Either way, you'll really enjoy the mixture of aromas.

CRAB/OYSTERS/CLAMS: We use a crab pot ACE with a well-spoiled Turkey drumstick tied to the inside of the pot to capture our crab. Clams can be harvested from salt water beaches or purchased in the shop (better fresh, though). Oysters can be purchased from the shop, or if you're lucky, directly from a farm oyster.

We cook crab and clams in the same preparation and this recipe have been developed over several years to get the best taste. Start by putting enough white wine relates only to the bottom of a large Dutch oven or stock pot. Add half a cube of butter and some chopped garlic. If you can you some onions, cut as well. Place the crabs and/or the cockles in the pot. Place the lid on the pot. Link in the heat on the stove to the steam development in the pan. The crab will turn red when done; the cockles will open up when done. Crabs usually have to cook for 30 minutes, cockles for as little as 10 minutes.

We want our oysters done on a BBQ. This is very simple and really develops the flavors of the oyster. Simple get the grill hot and place the oysters in the shell directly above the heat-make sure that the curved portion of the shell is the part of the shell you place on the grill. This ensures that the natural juices inside the shell. When the oysters open they're about 90% done (if you are that they are "squishy", that this is the time to remove them from the grill). Many people do not like the squishy feeling in their mouths and cook them until they are done all the way through. When removing them from the BBQ, they will – be a very hot oven mitt or heavy towel when removing them. To eat, remove the top shell and either eating them as they are or immerse them in a bit of garlic. Anyway, they're great!

Links about oysters make a very good tomato based stew that we of tomato juice, chopped garlic, sliced celery make, Tabasco (to your own liking), a dash of lemon juice and fennel. This mixture is sure to provide last night celebrations.

Halibut: Since the taste of halibut as mild, our preparations are easy. One is the use of dill and butter mixed with each other. Put a teaspoon of butter mixture on a steak halibut, and put it on the grill, tuning halfway through cooking. Don't put the steak until it could easily have a spatula put under it, otherwise it will tear the steak and make a mess.

The second way is immersing the rough halibut steak in completely in very hot olive oil and poach it. We usually use a disposable aluminum pan for this process. Boiling no longer opaque. It's very good!

Hope you try this and love them. As always, please let us know.

Eastman outside 90414 BBQ ZaGrill Pizza Pan is loved by our family

This is a great accessory that everyone would be proud to have. Of the ZaGrill pizza pan makes a delicious pizza on the grill. One thing I loved about this product is that it was not only easy to use but easy to clean. My pizza cooked up nice and crisp while turns out to be evenly cooked. The crust doesn't stick that was a relief, because I hate cleaning.

Great for home furnaces

I've noticed that the temperature control, however, was a little tough; I was able to keep the temperature even. I've noticed that I even the pizza pan in my home oven can use. I use the pizza ban in the middle of my oven. I've even other things as well. I am very happy with the purchase of this particular pizza pan.

Pizza in a jiffy

The time that this pizza pan takes in creating a great tasting pizza was about eleven minutes. My only complaint about this is that there isn't a larger one is available. I would be first in line to purchase a larger version of this product.

Cleanup was a cinch

Cleanup proved easy with this beautiful pan. This product should me and my family not only enjoy great tasting pizza on the grill, but also less cleanup time allowing us to carry out other fun things while camping.

Your kids will love it

You will not be disappointed with the BBQ ZaGrill pizza pan. This product allows for more unique meals while camping and if you have children, what child not enjoy pizza? You will not need to worry about your children turn their noses up at what you have created on the grill.

Why choose a Gas BBQ Grill?

There are few things as "American" as a summer barbecue.  Whether you are grilling steak, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs or even fruit is cooking on a gas barbecue grill a wonderful way to enjoy a meal with friends.

While some purists barbecue charcoal will claim that the best form of BBQ is, I believe that a top quality gas barbecue grill superior, in every respect.  Charcoal barbecues are great for camp outs but the hassle and mess it creates are no longer needed to enjoy a great grilling experience.

Benefits of choosing a Gas barbecue Grill:

? Skip the Mess-If you've ever struggled to just the right amount of charcoal, layered as and attuned to what you cook understands you this complaint. And to the fire started soon many people to lighter fluid that an unpleasant smell that permeates the food.

On the other hand, a gas barbecue grill is a snap to start, light and enforcing the grilling surface on an even, easy to check temperature.  Gas barbecues can be connected directly to a gas line on your House or powered with a refillable propane tank.  So with a turn of a switch, and then click the button your barbecue grill ready to cook!

? better control of the cooking surface- With charcoal barbecues you somewhat limited in your control of the temperature that you cook on.  And although a real grilling expert the temperature corresponds to the type of food that they cook, can manage the average weekend warrior may find this a frustrating factor.

Gas barbecues are mostly equipped with a temperature controller know so you can increase or decrease the cooking surface temperature.  They usually have several burners so you can change the temperature of different types of food.  This makes it a much more manageable task to cook fish, ribs or anything else that you think can at the same time.

? easy to clean-When you are cooking on a gas barbecue grill just clean out the grill surface and turn off the fuel!  But with charcoal you must wait for the temperature to come down on the briquettes and then find a way to get rid of them.

Another great aspect of a gas barbecue grill is the ability to add flavour to your food without the heavy charcoal and starter smell.  Wood chips taste in hickory, cherry, mesquite or apple wood chips add variety to a barbecue.

Other great features of gas grills:

1. Rotisseries- did you know that you can create your own rotisserie right in your own backyard?  Top grills such as Lynx and OCI offer now motorized rotisseries built into the Cabinet grill!  Some engines come even with variable speed, so you determine what type of cooking can.

2. Sear burners- need to cook something on a particular high heat for a short period of time?  That is no problem for contemporary gas bbq grills.  Sear burners can come installed as in the back of the grilling surface strips or added as a side burner on the outside of the grill for more flexibility.  Of all the comforts of a gas barbecue can this the best!

3. Accessories, accessories and more accessories- gas bbq grills can include illuminated cooking surfaces, warming drawers, vent caps the smoke, cocktail stations and a number of other great accessories to add spice to your outdoor cooking experience want to erase.

Make no mistake about it-charcoal grill can yield great results and there are a lot of great grills as the hasty bake line that many great features and are indispensable for the lovers of the traditional charcoal.  However, in the fast-paced world of today the conveniences of clean burning and easy-to-manage propane or LP fed gas barbecues are hard to pass up.  And when you add in the additional features and new top quality you really designs can be enjoyable backyard cooking again.

Inside track on finding the best Camping stoves

For anyone new to camping buy is the most appropriate equipment can be a very confusing experience. The advertising you see is all professionally done and the writers are highly experienced in the tell you what their product can do for you. What they don't tell you, of course, is what their product can do for you. This is where advice from an experienced third party can be an outcome. In this article, I will concentrate purely on buying the best camping stove, that fits your own camping requirements.

Camping stoves, like other items of camping equipment, come in many shapes and sizes. To the confusion of your purchase you must first determine what type of vehicle you are. This will simplify and narrow your search so that your ultimate purchasing decision that much easier. There are three major categories of camper:

backpackers and hikers have their own specific needs. Everything that they wear is as light as possible. If there is the possibility they can choose to build a campfire and cook on that. Although sometimes this is not possible. In many places are campfires prohibited because of the risk of serious brush or forest fires. A small spirit or propane stove can be a bad alternative for a decent campfire, but will the problem of how to make a hot drink or a meal one pan. Security Note. Fuel for spirit stoves should always be transported in a created for the job-container. Leaking flammable liquids and backpacks are not a good idea.

couples and very small groups aren't going to be happy with a single burner stove, unless of course, they are walking. As they transport will have the smallest stove that they should consider at least two rings, have all three would be better. This group could also consider a compact fire BBQ grill. As they transport, weight not quite as much of a problem.

Families and larger groups are the lucky ones, in my opinion. Usually they will travel by car and tend to stay longer in one place. They will not want to spend all their holiday cooking and must therefore choose carefully the Cookware. The minimum requirement here got to be at least three burners, plus, finances permitting, a combined grill and oven. I have my own personal favorite that is very compact, only the size of a family slow cooker, but is large enough to cook a full roast dinner. It also produces a BBQ is large enough for up to six people. I use often in the kitchen at home, that's basically what I bought it for in the first place.

Hopefully it will turn off above about your opinion of some of the confusion you may have feelings about the purchase of your new camping stove. It's not really difficult when you can determine what your needs are.

For a more in depth all look on this topic including my own personal favorites, also the oven/grill I previously, you might want to check out the website below. Happy camping.

Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam or brush with melted butter (for camping I use the Glad Oven Ware pans that are disposable). Tear bread up into small pieces and put in bottom of pan. Cook sausage, breaking it up while cooking it and put on top of bread in bottom of pan. In a bowl, mix eggs with milk and spices and cheese. Pour over bread and sausage. Cover and leave in refrigerator or ice chest for 24 hours.

This can be cooked in a camper oven, on a camping stove, or on a barbeque (Careful if using plastic oven ware, it can melt). If cooked in an oven, cook on 350 degree for 40-50 minutes. If cooked on barbeque or camp stove, just keep checking and cook until eggs appear done all the way through, especially in the middle of casserole.

This recipe is great tasting and can be made at home before you go camping.

BBQ Pork Ribs

1 pkg boneless pork tenderloin for bbq

it usually comes sliced,if not cut the loin into pieces that resemble ribs.

1 bottle terriaki sauce or your favorite marinade or bbq sauce.

1 clove chopped garlic+1 tsp chopped ginger(if desired)

1 heavy duty ziplock bag or container to marinade in.

How to Prepare:

Marinade the meat for as long as you can in fridge or cooler(if in the cooler make sure you seal the container well. If it leaks its real messy)I find 24hrs is perfect. Cook on med/low bbq; turning meat as it cooks to desired doneness. This can also be prepared in the oven. Just line a baking pan with foil, bake at 425 for about 20-25 mins or until meat is 160F with meat thermometer.

Fish Stew

1 lg pot of raw potatoes, cut in 1/4's

1 handful of peppercorns

sprinkle salt

Fish, cut in chunks

1 lg tin of carnation milk

How to Prepare:

Boil potatoes 10 min.with the peppercorns & salt. Place fish pieces on top of potatoes.Cover & simmer 15 min. till done. Add the carnation, heat gently. DON'T BOIL! Serve with rye bread.

Campfire Chicken

Split chicken breast

Red potatoes (cut in half)

Carrots (cut in half)

Onion (cut in half)

Plum tomato (cut in half)

Place the above ingredients into aluminum foil sheets, make into pocket. You can add some seasonings . Bake in the oven or over a campfire. You can also add a small piece of corn on the cob. This is great - it's a I full meal but no pots or dishes to wash. Great for camping.

Grilled Salmon

1 1/2 lbs. salmon

1/2 soy sauce

1/2 cup olive oil

4 cloves chopped garlic

Combine oil, soy sauce and garlic and marinate salmon for 1 hour. Cook salmon over the fire and you're in for a tastebud treat. Use the same ingredients and marinate some of your favorite veggies and cook them over the fire for a wonderful side to go with the salmon.

Kettle Dogs

Best when cooked in a kettle suspended on a tripod over a campfire...

8-10 Hot Dogs

1-12oz can Chili Beans

1 pkg Chili Seasonings

1 16+oz jar Mild or Hot Chunky Salsa (as chunky as you can find is best)

Water

Add everything (including the juice from the chili bean can) except the water. Add water to the desired thickness you want. Let it slowly cook until you can't stand how good it smells anymore. I usually will allow it to simmer over a low campfire for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Kettle Ham & Potatoes

Best when cooked over an open fire in a kettle hanging on a tripod

1lb Picnic Ham (chunked) - (turkey ham is ok, but not as good)

6 Potatoes (4 chunked - 2 mashed)

1 Onion (chunked)

2 Stalks Celery (chunked)

Milk

Water

Salt

Pepper

Garlic Powder

You have 4 choices to start with......

1) Substitute canned whole potatoes for fresh

2) Pre-boil the potatoes at home before going camping

3) Use a regular campstove to boil the potatoes

4) Have a hot enough fire going to boil the potatoes in the kettle (this is the one I usually do, but I'm really into the outdoor cooking thing....)

Once you figure out which one you are going to do, put mashed potatoes , ham, and enough milk to make it paste-like. Add 1 more cup milk. Add the rest of the potatoes, onion, and celery. Slowly cook until all the veggies are soft. Season to taste during this time. You may need to add water while it is slowly cooking to keep the texture you desire (milk works as well) This should serve between 4-6 adults. If you need to serve more than this, just figure for every 2 additional people, just add 3 more potatoes (2 cubed, 1 mashed). The other veggies are up to your taste.

* Chunked means that the veggies don't have to be chopped in equal chunks. The whole idea is to make this meal look and taste homemade.

1/4 c Flour

1/2 c Butter

2 tbsp Lemon Juice

2 tbsp Chopped Parsley

Lemon Wedges

Salt

Black Pepper

Season the milk to taste with salt and black pepper. Soak the trout in the mixture for at least 5 mins. Remove the trout from the mixture and thoroughly coat it with flour. Place the skillet on hot coals and melt the butter in it. Place the trout in the skillet and brown each side. Raise the skillet just above the hot coals using 2 sticks of the same size. Sprinkle the trout on both sides with lemon juice and finish cooking it (the trout should flake easily when done - approx 8 mins. depending on the heat of your coals). Sprinkle the trout with the chopped parsley and serve with the lemon wedges on the side.

* This recipe is works really well with any variety of trout. I feel that when you use freshly caught trout it tastes even better!

1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup

1 can Chow Mein Noodles (5oz size)

1 can Cashews (small can)

1/2 cup Green Onions (chopped)

1/2 cup Celery (chopped)

Some of these are quite large and quite heavy, but on wheels. It will only ever be in the backyard or in the garage so no problem. BBQ recipe

We all love BBQs, except when the person who does the cooking is not a designation are doing. Apologies to everyone who reads this that a fool of himself on their first BBQ for friends and family. With any luck, if that person could you are, it can be prevented simply by reading this.

Let me begin this by saying that when I started, I was that Numpty. All fired up, I mean me, and let's go! Lit the fire, meat, disaster. OMG! Just what go wrong? I think I know now, not even then.

To avoid the embarrassment of black meat, unlike overcooked meat, you must first know the basics of cooking on a BBQ. Keep in mind, your guests are just that, your guests. They don't want to embarrass you so will tend to grin and think of better times. Be prepared for a lot of waste. It would be a very good friend indeed that decided to 'Baard the Lion ', and put you right, especially after a few glasses of wine or beer. You need to know two things in particular. You need to know how to cook and you need a basic BBQ recipe.

First things first. If you have an open BBQ Please make sure that cooking rack adjustable height as cooking, otherwise you risk compromising the kiss of death and worse. Salmonella is available on your BBQ recipe free if you serve black chicken that raw inside.

Okay, first things first, as we said earlier. You get a barbecue, the BBQ recipe can wait. It can be solid fuel or gas, your choice. Remember that the cooking rack adjustable.

Light of the barbecue, and wait! In the case of a gas BBQ wait until it is completely non-smoking. If the BBQ new is put it on max for at least 15 minutes before you down and starts to boil, then follow the instructions, as if it were a solid fuel cooker. Instructions for solid fuel.

What you use to light up the BBQ, it the liquid or solid, it must be completely burned. Many lighting media paraffin based, and unless it is completely burned out everyone will taste in their food. Do yourself a favor. Not the fuel tray overload and wait until it is stopped smoking and the coal gone gray. This is essential. It is also why the adjustable cooking surface is so important. Please bear in mind that the coal extremely hot, and this is good. You can heat can sear the meat or vegetables and til the food on the adjustable cooking surface so that the internal to an acceptable temperature can cook.

I must admit that I don't use, but an internal temperature prod is the safest way to serve BBQ had food. 70 degrees Celsius (internal) is generally regarded as safe for chicken, pork and processed foods. Many people would prefer beef and lamb pink in the middle. Cooking meat slowly, after searing, higher on the BBQ, internally to the temperature. Health and safety is an issue in the West, so be careful.

I want to put an absolute exception in the argument "pink meat", and watch this. Be very careful with vis. My broad point is this. Make sure that a fish that you BBQ falls out of the bone when cooked. It doesn't have to be cremated, just make sure that the meat from the bone with a fork falls, so once again, the slow cooking, but make sure it falls off the bone with a fork. By many to be accepted that salmon and tuna can be served pink. Don't be fooled by other peoples ignorance. Safely serve salmon and tuna pink should the frozen earlier. The idea is to give your visitors what they want and enjoy, not a nasty little surprise!

BBQ Tool Sets Are Essential for the Master Griller

For the avid BBQ griller, quality BBQ tool sets are essential. After all, even a master barbequer will have trouble creating just the right flavor without the right BBQ utensils. There are many options when it comes to BBQ tool sets, from small, basic kits to deluxe packages that include all the basic BBQ utensils as well as many optional tools that can make the master barbequer's life a bit simpler. Below are the basic utensils that every griller will want to have, plus a few optional bells and whistles that may make the job simpler.
The first and most basic of the BBQ utensils is a spatula. Many typical kitchen spatulas are wood or plastic, but BBQ tool sets should include a metal spatula. Other materials simply don't work as well for barbequeing. This is because barbequeing (especially over open flame) produces quite a bit of heat, and a plastic spatula can melt in the intense heat. Likewise, a wooden spatula will char over time, and may change the flavor of the items being grilled. A slotted spatula or one with holes can more easily grip delicate meats so they can be flipped at just the right point during cooking. Spatulas are especially useful for moving or flipping burgers, steaks and other delicate, flat, large pieces of meat during cooking.
Metal tongs are the second most essential tool in BBQ tool sets. These allow the griller to move or flip awkwardly shaped or difficult to grab meats and vegetables. Tongs are generally more precise, so they can be used to quickly remove fully cooked meats, seafood and veggies from the grill. Roasted potatoes and corn, chicken legs, and prawns are examples of some of the items that are more easily picked up with tongs than a spatula.
Other important BBQ utensils are long forks, usually two or three tined. These long, sharp forks make it easy to pierce and spread mead so the griller can gauge how well done the meat is. Long forks are also useful for quickly piercing food to remove it from the grill, or to release steam, as in the case of potatoes roasting on the grill.

Lastly, basic BBQ tool sets should also include a baster. A baster is typically a wood handled (or sometimes metal handled) brush that is used for applying spices and seasonings to food during cooking. BBQ sauces, butter (sometimes seasoned with herbs and spices), marinades and oils are some of the seasonings used on the grill.
Some other helpful items found in deluxe BBQ tool sets include corn cob holders, skewers (for kebobs), and a scraper or grill brush. A sharp, quality knife may be included in some sets and is among the essential BBQ utensils, whether you have your own knife set or opt to purchase a BBQ tool set that includes one.
Master barbequers know that BBQ tool sets are essential, not only for making it much easier to cook food on a BBQ grill, but also to ensure that grilled food is cooked to perfection every time.
